Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area, Kenny graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology. Before entering the clinical psychology doctoral program at the University of Detroit Mercy, he worked as a teacher’s assistant and ran an after-school program in San Jose, California. In his free time, Kenny enjoys hockey, hiking, music, and crossword puzzles.
