Tom Bottenfield, Ph.D.
Biography
Dr. Bottenfield is a staff psychologist who received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Oakland University and his Ph.D. in Clinical and Educational Psychology from Wayne State University in 1998.
In addition to being an experienced clinician, he is a certified school psychologist and has recently retired after serving the students of Detroit and Romeo for 28 years.
Dr. Bottenfield has also served as adjunct psychology faculty at St. Clair County Community College and had provided independent psycho-educational evaluations through his company Summit School Services. At Apex he works with a diverse population of adolescents and adults and treats a number of different disorders.
In his free time, Dr. Bottenfield enjoys spending time with his family, now also consisting of two grandchildren. He is an avid outdoorsman and fanatical about crossword puzzles.
