Dr. Kamoo is a licensed psychologist with 26 years of clinical experience. He serves as Director of Apex Therapy Services, having started the clinic as an extension of his private practice.
He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Michigan State University and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1999. His practice includes a diverse range of forensic and clinical patients, and he is often called upon to do psychological evaluations throughout the United States.
In addition to writing a scholarly reference book on the history of an ethnic community, Dr. Kamoo has also authored or co-authored numerous publications in the fields of clinical and forensic psychology, immigration evaluations, and ancient history in a number of peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Kamoo serves as adjunct psychology faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy, supervising PhD students and serving on dissertation committees. He continues to present papers at many conferences and has been invited to speak at a number of meetings and colloquia. He is actively involved in research and is a member of several professional organizations.
In his free time, Dr. Kamoo enjoys spending time with his family, running and playing tennis.
