She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as additional evidence-based practices, to assist with creating personal goals and ways to reach them, introducing emotion regulation skills, coping skills, and mindfulness and meditation techniques. She trusts that setting goals helps clients to understand and target problem behaviors or issues they want to work on in counseling and to develop realistic, attainable solutions and/or goals.
Holding a Master’s of Science in Counseling Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Pamela is trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); she also uses Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
She enjoys exercising, cooking, and dancing, as well as traveling to and exploring new places. She also values spending time with her family.
