Crystal DeGrandchamp earned a BA in Psychology in 2012. After working as a preschool teacher for three years, she began coursework at Oakland University and graduated with an MA in Counseling in May of 2017. She has also received her National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential from the National Board of Certified Counselors.
She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with expertise in children and adolescent mental health. Her work focuses on clinical issues such as self-injury, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, grief and loss, adjustment to life changes, behavioral problems, and study skills.
Crystal uses a person-centered and existential approach, but also utilizes techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and play therapy, all in an effort to provide each client with a personalized counseling experience.
