She has thirteen years of experience helping clients from 18 to 80 years old, as individuals or in couples or groups, with co-occurring mental health issues. She believes in meeting the client where they are, bringing guidance and grace to an otherwise confused state of mind. She uses a range of modalities during therapy, depending on the needs and goals of the clients. She has worked with those struggling with addictive behaviors including gambling, shopping, eating, and internet use, in addition to substance and alcohol abuse. She is also experienced with mental health issues like personality disorders, anxiety, depression, PTSD, aging, loss of purpose and drive, communication, and anger regulation.
Tammy received her Master’s degree from Bellevue University. She has three adult children and runs a craft business, which she sometimes incorporates into therapy for stress relief and tools to cope with anxiety and depression.
