She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in becoming more resilient in the face of adversity. Over nine years in practice, she has seen clients overcome obstacles that have hindered their paths toward leading a more fulfilling life. She has provided family, group, and individual psychotherapy.
She has worked as a school psychologist, administering tests to students with suspected learning and/or socio-emotional difficulties, as well as a therapist in various contexts including private practice, higher education, a psychiatric hospital, treatment centers, drug court, and a juvenile detention center, specifically with youth struggling with substance use and trauma-related issues.
Kristen attained a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy, specializing in child development, after an undergraduate degree from Rochester College. In her off hours, she enjoys biking, hiking, and kickboxing.
