After what he calls a wonderful career in the US Army and Army National Guard, Cole turned to a second career helping people as a psychologist. Since beginning to practice in 2015 he has held several positions working with a variety of populations to address a broad range of psychological issues.
He recognizes that psychological functioning is a complex construct and requires understanding of the whole person, which has led him to pursue additional training and education in other paradigms to best assist those with whom he works. He has developed an integrative approach to therapy, drawing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral, humanistic, and psychodynamic theories to provide quality interventions.
In his spare time, Cole continues to serve in the Michigan Army National Guard, and is pursuing his PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy.
